Catherine Anderson and Hannah Schroder strengthen the Knowledge Unlatched team

Berlin, 6th June 2017 Due to the dynamic growth of its Open Access initiative, Knowledge Unlatched (KU) is expanding its team in Berlin with two new colleagues from July 2017. Catherine Anderson joins as Sales Director in order to co-ordinate the worldwide sales activities, and Hannah Schroeder will be responsible for supporting libraries around the world. „KU is currently one of the most innovative companies in the field of Open Access worldwide and I look forward to bringing my experience to support its further development“ says Catherine Anderson. „I am very pleased to have found two colleagues who support Open Access with such passion and a high degree of professionalism“ says Dr. Sven Fund, Managing Director of Knowledge Unlatched.

Catherine Anderson joins KU from Schweitzer Fachinformationen where she held the position of Head of Library Sales. She previously worked in Sales for a number of international publishers. Her fellow Briton, Hannah Schroder, studied German and Russian and has worked for various publishers supporting key customers.

About Knowledge Unlatched: Knowledge Unlatched is a global initiative in which publishers and libraries collaborate to make books from the Humanities and Social Sciences freely available to readers around the world. Around 60 prestigious publishers and over 400 libraries have supported the initiative, which has already made around 450 new and backlist titles available as Open Access.
