Luminos Membership

      • Library Membership fees are used to directly cover publishing costs with any surplus added to an author waiver fund to support authors in getting their research published.

      • All authors at Luminos Member Library institutions receive discounts on Title Publication Fees.

      • Both the benefits and costs of Open Access are shared among stakeholder communities, creating a more sustainable ecosystem for publishing scholarly HSS books.

 

Language Science Press 2025-2027

 

    • LSP is the leading academic-led OA initiative in linguistics, and much of its success is due to the active community of linguists worldwide. Thanks to the cooperative pledging model of institutional support, LSP authors face no publishing costs.

    • Nearly 1,100 academics from all over the world have published with LSP since the initiative started in 2017.

    • Over 115 institutions worldwide have funded the initiative in the first three rounds of pledging, as sponsors for Language Science Press.
